Why Customs?

Everything we make is one-of-a-kind, so our market inventory is limited and availability is first come, first served.

It’s not uncommon for a customer to find something they love, but it’s the wrong size, or color, or style…or it’s already being held for someone else. I'm happy to add them to a waitlist in the rare case that the held item becomes available again, but most of the time, it’s more helpful to make them their own custom version with the colors, style, and sizing of their choice.

A Note About Customs

A custom will never be a copy or reproduction of an existing piece. Hand sewing, tie-dye, batik, and ice-dye all produce infinite variations, plus everything we offer is crafted individually by hand. Please be aware that even if we use the same colors and techniques, your custom will have its own unique character. It can have the same design, colorway, or tie pattern as another item, but the amount of reversal, crackle of batik, and flow of the dyes will be its own.

For example, all three of the Deepwoods tees below were tied in the same manner and dyed with the same colors, but each one resulted in a unique design.

Payment and Delivery

For in-person orders, I accept payment through cash or card, and I offer free pick-up or delivery anywhere in Wake County. I can also accept orders for shipping anywhere in the US (+$5 for most items) through my Etsy shop.
